Reconstituting waste gold from jewellers and other manufacturers is the central activity of this firm of gold refiners and bullion dealers. Once recovered it is turned into gold ‘grains’, so called because they resemble grains of corn. This became the inspiration for our design. The typography is influenced by the design of 18th century hand bills and posters, a link with the period when Betts was founded.
